National Museum of Wales
In 1994, two galleries from north and south Wales – Oriel Mostyn in Llandudno and Newport Art Gallery – commissioned a number of artists to make new work in response to objects in the collection of the National Museum of Wales. The results were shown in the exhibition Disclosure(s).
For the accompanying catalogue, I wrote this essay ‘Four Landscapes and a Still Life’, recounting my own experience of a visit to the National Museum in Cardiff to look closely at a number of favourite paintings.
