The first two reviews here are by David Briers from Art Review and Silvano Levy from Artscribe. Briers is describing the exhibition as staged in Swansea and Levy the slightly different version subsequently shown in Newcastle.
The third text here is an extract from the end of Michel Remy’s 1999 book Surrealism in Britain, where he describes Contrariwise as ‘a lesson in surrealist aesthetics’.
