Oxford Companion to the Photograph
In 2005, I was invited to contribute a short essay on surrealism and photography to the Oxford Companion to the Photograph, edited by Robin Lenman for the Oxford University Press.
Intended for reference only, this volume is necessarily rather unwieldy and best consulted in a library. Alternately, there is an online edition (though I’m afraid this requires a subscription): www.oxfordreference.com
